One of the best female vocalists is from Cerebral Bore. Her name is Som from the Netherlands. She doesnt really dress like a girl but her gutterals are amazing.

People are too closed minded these days. I don't want all metal to sound the same jesus christ that would get old quick. That's one of the nice thing about the metal scene now, there is a lot of diversity. You can't get anywhere trying to sound like other bands I.E Metallica, Slayer. You have to come up with new shit to make it yours.

Hey guize I'm back...

I never understood the elitist attitude. In my 46 years I've literally been to hundreds of concerts. In my younger days I went to shows like Night Ranger, Cheap Trick, REO Speedwagon, Stevie Nicks, and Heart. This Friday I'm going to see Ian Anderson Play Thick as a Brick 1&2, I love that album. I've also more recently been to a Cannibal Corpse show and I got me a Skeletonwitch ticket, and if I could convince Hatebreed to be the house band at my favorite local club I'd go every weekend. I'm convinced that elitist are talentless hacks that try and make themselves feel better by denigrating music they don't care for. I admit I can't even keep a beat to save my life, but I don't see the point in putting down what other people like. I'm friends with real musicians of all types Death Metal to Broadway. They all have their preferences, but they NEVER talk shit, like these dumb ass elitist do, about other peoples music.

Oh yeah one more thing. Anyone who thinks girls can't do Death Metal needs to check out Landmine Marathon. They're fronted by a little wisp of a girl and she sings like shes got a giant set of balls it's amazing. If you're into Death Metal you wont be disappointed.

Fuck, thank you! I've been saying this for the longest time, listen to whatever the hell you want and don't worry about what anyone else thinks. I also tend to not really pay attention to genres either, I just listen to whatever sounds good to me. I can go from Duran Duran to Rammstein to Red Hot Chili Peppers to King Diamond to Daft Punk to Tears for Fears and not give a shit. It really pisses me off when people think they have the right to tell me what I can and can't listen to. and I completely agree with DarkAeon. To each his own!
