Death note is my all time favorite anime. I just started getting into blue exorcist which is a really cool storyline.

I could do a list of anime I like but it will just go on forever lol but I could name a few: Soul Eater, Bleach, One Piece, Clannad, Deadman Wonderland, FlCl, K-On!, Baka and Test, Trinity Blood, Blood+, and Detroit Metal City.

yeah fuck metal elitists black metal is fucking horrible and there is some pretty bad death metal to. but thats what makes metal so unique you can absolutley despise one kind of metal and love another

Ok, I have gotten so much flack in the past because of being female and liking metal. Try being a girl and loving the hell out of Metallica AND Nightwish. I'm not having an identity crisis, I just happen to like many different types of rock and metal.

I've never had a problem with being a chick and liking metal. I do know that there are some assholes who think metal is a guys only genre, but I have yet to meet one. I think it's pretty fucking stupid for any guy to not see a girl as an equal. And if it's other girls who are giving you flack, then who cares? Girls can be complete cunts sometimes. They're not worth it.

I'm a guy and a Metal head all my life and think it's amazing that so many Females along with people of every race and culture have embraced Metal. to me it shows how strong the music is and how none of us are that different at all as when it comes to our core we share the same love for the music, same emotions, same problems etc. As Metal fans i feel we should all welcome each other as a Family. Most of us no matter where we came from or what pur gender is have experienced that feeling of being an outsider and being looked down upon for speaking our mind or thinking freely rather than falling into the heard. most metal heads i have meet have been some of the nicest people i know. there are some bad ones along with fans of anything and i've ran into a couple of them as well however to me they don't truly understand what it means to be a Metal head and fall under their own category of what they believe is cool or kvlt making them no different than the people they say they despise. Yes Metal is ultimately the music of rebellion but at the same time it's much more as well as a family and movement. So to keep this music going and everything we love about it i believe we have to stay united and show we are not like the fans of certain other genres who jump ship when their old favorite artist are no longer topping the charts.

I have a friend who bashes the bands I like, which would be fine but he doesn't listen to them. Slayer are 'A bunch of sad old men', Arch Enemy 'sucks because they have a female singer because women can't do a good death growl'. He also is one of those people who only latches onto a band's single. He won't listen to anything off of Mastodon's 'The Hunter' except Curl of the Burl, or won't listen to any Motorhead except the song 'Ace of Spades'. He likes Metallica's 'Master of Puppets' and 'Sanitarium' but only if they are the covers by Trivium and BFMV, repectively. Sure, I don't like metalcore, deathcore, nu metal, or black metal, but I give it all a chance. Rob Halford says it best "It doesn't matter if you listen to black metal, nu metal, death metal or thrash metal. It's all heavy fucking metal."

Lol. I agree with Rob. How does BFMV do a better cover than the original though..? And Angela of Arch Enemy is an insane singer. Even ranking among guys, she still kicks some serious ass.

Also, I feel like people use the excuse age (referring to Slayer) when they can't think of anything bad to say about a band. Hahaha.

In regards of female vocalists: Abnormality, Arch Enemy, Walls of Jericho, Light This City (R.I.P.), all I have to say on that. As for the Elitists: it's the internet, don't pay attention, no harm done. That's why i don't bother to even look at YouTube comments, that place is a warzone. Me personally, I like things from Frank Sinatra to Dying Fetus, so I guess I'm not a "true" metalhead either, but I don't care. You like what you like, it's as simple as that.
