I don't like metal elitists at all. They don't bother me as much as they used to, and I keep my opinions on what I hate to myself. Unless it's mainstream rap and hair-metal. Then I will go off. To be honest, I don't even listen to as much metal as I have two years ago; I've been going on classic R&B and soul, as well as classic jazz (like Miles Davis) and 80s pop and underground hip hop. Hell, besides Slipknot, I listen to Kate Bush and Siouxsie and the Banshees, so it's pretty weird.

well nickelback aint half bad and they all fucking hate them. Dont say you hate something unless you've actually seen them live cause they put on one hell of a show.

It shows you can never judge someone just by appearance and perception. some of us scary long haired metal dudes have an inner teenage Japanese girl waiting to be unleashed muahahahaha lmfao.

But yes i say respect talent and listen to what moves you.

Why is this a sticky thread? Anyways, I don't understand why some people think they're above others for the music they listen to. It is such bull shit.

I enjoy some J-Pop, but only World Order because Im a huge fan of Genki Sudo (very interesting individual). I also like "Who's Theme" by Minmi after hearing it on Samurai Champloo. Classical music and 90's rap are other genres I like.

I got into j-pop after watching so much anime haha.
