There are talented musicians in every genre. Adele and eminem are extraordinarily talented for the genres they are in. I hate pop punk but blink 182 is awesome. In truth i am a man of all genres but only listen to the talented musicians. I might get hate for this but katy perry is awesome haha. And elitists are some of the dumbest fuckheads you will ever meet so just ignore them and let them listen to bands that no one has ever heard of.

Ive been listening to metal since i was 12 (25 now). I went through a phase where I thought if you didnt listen to the heaviest, most brutal, most trv kvlt shit then you didnt like real metal. Then I realized I also like country music which I was raised on and many other genres. Then I grew and realized who cares what people like, everybody is different. So just ignore the guy. Now pardon me but im going to listen to Call me maybe. Cause I can.

ya man, I listen to every style of music except american Pop and Country and I could say a Guilty pleasure of mine is I like listening to Japanese Pop music, but ya everyone is different and we should except that. I'm always going to be a Metalhead and it dosent matter wat music I listen to as long I listen to metal I'm and every one els that dose we are all metalheads

oh and Plus I dont listen to todays Rap music

I have elitist friends but their no jack asses. they mind their own business and I mind my own, but they never not talk to me because I listen to something that could be considered "poser" their actually really nice, I have never met an elitist in real life that was a jackass. I listen to all types of metal including black and death so they think I'm cool.

Fuck those people dude. I listen to everything and when I mean everything I mean EVERYTHING!(Well not much hip hop or Country) but my top 2 favorite bands of all time are Motorthead and Dave Matthews Band. People who really give a fuck about what you listen to need to get a fucking life. And people who feel they have to up hold an image are usually fake ass people to begin with. Listen to what you want and fuck what others think.
