Look, those of you who are calling this year Nu-Mayhemfest or whatever, think about it, how long has it been since Korn has been Nu-Metal, damn near 11 years. Everything after that lost the hip-hop style. Also, if ur calling Zombie Nu-Metal then your FUCKING RETARDED!!!!!!! Zombie has been around like 10 years longer than Nu-Metal has. To put it simple, Nu-Metal is gone. It lasted from the late 90s to the early 2000s and then died. Slipknot, Disturbed, Linkin Park and Korn all changed their sounds. Coal Chamber split up and their singer is in DevilDriver now. System of a Down was never really Nu-Metal. The only ones left are the Nu-Posterboys, Limp Bizkit and their the biggest joke in rock.

Nu-Metal is just another stupid label thrown out by the industry. I think for the most part this years bands are straight up Heavy Metal.

When a genre gets a negative connotation, bands try to stray away from it. Case in point, Job for a Cowboy and deathcore, As I Lay Dying with metalcore, and Slipknot with nu-metal. This shouldn't be a surprise to people.

1st, never call linkin park nu-"METAL", 2nd. Yea, the only Nu-metal i care about now is Disturbed and Slipknot.
