Rockstar Mayhem Festival

Why is there nothing but metalcore bullshit on the Mayhem stage? It saddens me that they consider this metal. On top of that, we have a "Christian" metal band there as well. Let me set this straight: there is no fucking thing as "Christian" metal. But yes, why is there poser pussy shit metal in Mayhem Fest?

dude honestly...i listen to 'metalcore' or whatever you want to call it. i feel whatever you consider is metal. who cares what others think. i love all that remains, you probley hate them. as for the christian shit, who cares if there christian or not, as long as they dont make you get on your knees and pray who cares? i for one dont believe in god. but your probley going to come at me with some remark. there not coming to kc anyways...so why do you care?! i understand what your saying tho, theres alot of bands on the line up you dont like, and im sorry for you. but everyone likes different stuff. not just what you like. i like a bunch of bands on the line up, norma jean and in this moment included, but i also like rob, lamb of god, hatebreed and chimaira. so say what you like, its happening wheather we like it or not. sorry.

Think they would be at the show if they made us get on our knees and pray? Hell no they wouldn't. I am going to a show either way, Not that far the closest one to me. Who know if they are even gonna come, they keep adding dates so we'll see either way. Metalcore is basically bands such as Norma Jean, TDWP, Sleeping Giant, etc. You know, the crap that get popular to all the little emo scums and what not. They are gonna be attracting a lot of that to Mayhem Fest and pollute what use to be a metal head's festival. I for one don't want one and rather have this shit thrown way the fuck back to that Warped Tour shit.

i'm just saying, it appears like the only reason why you don't want 'a christian metal band' at mf is because you think there going throw their religion on you [which of course i don't blame you for] but who cares if they don't? like i said...the line up is already the line up, theres nothing we can do about it. i'm sorry for you. and i hope you have fun despite all the 'crappy metal-core' music. which btw which mayhem fest are you going to anyway? theres none in kc this year.

Yeah, I know I won't be able to change the fact that those metal bands are gonna be up there. I already know what I am gonna do to get my moneys worth when those bands play too. Gonna be heading up to the one in Maryland Heights. Hmm, metal for me is what we had before all these other forms of what is suppose to be metal came out. Pretty much what I like, of course this is my opinion.
