called here waits thy doom. I went to fye and they were having a sale on cds and dvds so was lookin at metal cds and found 3 inches of blood and figured hey! this band is at mayhem and i might as well buy it and check em out to see what they're about, thinking to myself that they are probly a pretty good band. well i just came to find out i was wrong. It sounds like a "Jim Henson's Muppets go Metal" soundtrack..Am I going crazy or did I just buy a bad cd of theirs or what..

nah dude, i dunno what your deal is. I loved it. Its freak'n thrash with falsetto-scream sounding vocals. With pro metal vocals. Whats wrong with that?

@beauty, it was a joke :) There are those that buy the album AFTER they listen to it though, as not to waste money on crap like this but still support other bands like, say, FFDP.

I agree with Overkill, if I've never heard anything at all from the band then I will either go to YouTube or torrents. But if I like it then I definitely buy the CD. I don't see why good artists shouldn't get rewarded for providing me with amazing music. I'm surprised though. Battles and Brotherhood was released for Rock Band 2 this past week, and I (like you) figured hey, they're on Mayhem, why not? I bought it and I find it extremely fun to play and I like the song itself too. Try giving them another listen maybe?
