I like Machineheads version as well. Helloween did a pretty good cover of Wasted Years a while back also.
Nothing like a cold beer, chili cheese fritos and bean dip...

Machine Head's cover was good, though i cant say its better than the original. I liked Trivium's cover of "Iron Maiden" too.

No way Machine Head had a better cover than the original, but some days I enjoy it a lot more than the original. Both are phenomenal, and I love both, but I have to say the original is the better. I do, however, like Machine Head's cover of Battery better than Metallica's original version, I don't know why it just seems darker or heavier or whatever.
