Rockstar Mayhem Festival

Here is a note I posted a few days ago on my Facebook (wolverinekills@yahoo.com - add me), thought you guys/gals might wanna read this:Not really sure if this is Ozzfest or info for another tour. Black Label Society is in the process of pulling out of overseas festivals starting in early July for a major (unknown) US tour that is taking place during that same time period.Kittie also announced they are a support act on a major US tour. A week earlier they said they were possibly gonna be involved in a festival type of tour but it was not a sure thing at that time.Iron Maiden are announcing their 2010 North America tour dates this Thurs 3/04. It will be a cold day in hell before they are on Ozzfest again after the 2005 incident. Could they be announcing a festival type of tour (or their participation in a festival) ? ***UPDATED*** Just found out that Motorhead is likely to be involved on the Maiden tour!!!I have also been hearing rumors of Jackson guitars putting together/being involved in a summer festival type of tour (perhaps sponsoring a second stage featuring bands they sponsor). Some bands they sponsor according to their website are:Iron Maiden (Adrian Smith) Machine Head (Phil Demmel) Zakk Wylde (Randy Rhoads models) Trivium B4MV Six Feet Under Anthrax (Scott Ian)Also we know that some bands are rumored for Ozzfest and/or other tours:Ozzy Godsmack Fear Factory Down Devildriver Otep Stone Sour Alice in Chains Killswitch Engage (may be not now) Lacuna Coil HellYeah As I Lay Dying All That Remains Disturbed Sevendust Mastodon Job For A Cowboy Anvil Exodus TestamentLooks like the possibilities are narrowing down. We know some bands are involved in summer tours. The Iron Maiden announcement will hopefully answer some questions. After that the list of bands for Ozzfest will be narrowed down even more. Comments or thoughts???
