People. You shouldn't label people. causes to much shit. "EMO METAL" Thats bullshit. Metal is Metal. Sure Breakdowns in "Core" Metal get annoying but what that one guy said "Beauty is in the Eye on the beholder" or ear of the beholder in this case. Its music, either you like it or not. I like all metal except Rapcore and porngrind/Brutal Death Grind. Shit is just noise. Sure Deathcore isn't "Brutal" like real death Metal buts its good shit. Hate the kids not the bands.

its not so much if you listen to core music. (I listen to All That Remains, Five Finger Death Punch, and As Blood Runs Black) its if you eat, sleep, and breathe the "core" lifestyle. If ALL you listen to is core, (no THRASH metal, no death metal, no classic metal, no nu metal), if you think metal bands are sellout posers and that hardcore bands arent, if you say things like rawr and br00ta1, and if you straighten your hair-wear skinny jeans- have lip piercings, no others- hardcore dance- dye your hair- like neon- and listen to Bring me the Horzion, The Devil Wears Prada, Attack Attack, or A Day to Remember- -AT ALL. If you do those things i listed, your a core kid, your scene, your a fag.

labels piss me off. yesterday at work i met a punk who tried to call me a metal head, and i looked at him [i think he was expecting me to call pissed off] and said, sorry i dont care what you have to say. he got all pissed and stormed off. it was HILARIOUS. but i was thinking about the whole emo, poser, scene and jugglo kids. and i think this is what it comes down to [IMO] i dont think its nessarrily WHAT they listen to but there actions. emo kids are like...ohh man im gonna slit my wrist..dude fucking take out the tampon! [so there suicidial] scene kids all dress like there part of some kind of circus. and jugglos try to act all hood well being like man i totally listen to rock. in the end it all comes down to this...POSERS! there all trying to be something there NOT. listen to the music YOU like, not what your retarded friends like. Ive always have been and always will my own person. its retarded for you let others try to tell you what THEY think is cool. but anyways thats my thoughts on that subject...

Agreed...The entire idea of labels is ridiculous...not just bc the entire hardcore scene nowadays is beyond any hope of repair...but simply bc i think fans and musicians for that matter, need to remember that each respective name (be it metalhead/emo/scene/rocker/or wtf ever) should apply to music style and music style only- -dont turn it into a damn beauty pageant. Like the genre for the sound, NOT the clothing/makeup style.

ya i agree there are too many ppl that only listen to all of that. me personally,i like it all:glam,thrash,grindcore,death metal,black metal,u name it i like it. ppl just need to explore more
