wtf is up with the term 'core kids' i havent a clue what it means. im not asking because i have been called this, but because it gets used several times in this bored. and im really confused. i dont nessary know the 'lingo' because i just dont give a shit...and this is entirely for a entertainment purpose. because whatever the answer...i know im gonna laugh my ass off. so anyone care to explain it to the dumbass who doesnt know 'special lingo'? [please dont come at me with name calling...because then youll just look like a jack-ass, and please dont try to make me look stupid..cuz thats just rude!] Rachelle

Well usually core kids is a term for kids that like core music. Usually Deathcore, Metalcore, Math core Nintendo Core and Grindcore. Alot of Metal heads ( my self included ) don't find this stuff anywhere close to real metal. But once again beauty is in the eye of the beholder. So alot of these kids are ignorent and think that stuff is brutal. Alot of times Core kids, Emo kids, Mall core kids, camo core kids and yes Diper core ( a common deragatory name for these people ) are all connected in some way, or at least viewed that way. I am not going to mention any band names becuase once I do that, I will piss off every one with a different opinion. Just search death core/ metal core bands to get a general Idea. One of the beautiful things about Metal is that everyone should be able to do their own thing without being judged be each other. I do find these core kids to be very ridiculous. But I am so Sick of people constantly saying " But that is not true metal " to each other. " True metal " is whatever band, genere artist ect. That each individual connects with. even though to us, we may find the Black Eyed peas more brutal than their " brutal stuff " But yea Rachelle. That is generally what they are considered to be. Or at least around my part of the County. I don't know how I got off into the other topic. It was not directed towards you lol. and you are deffinitly not a dumbass for wondering. thanks for explaining it. i listen to alot of 'metalcore' and 'deathcore' but i wouldnt say im ignorant. i listen to all different types of rock, not just one certain type. seriously i listen to everything. im not narrow-minded about rock music. tho i only listen to rock. i probley didnt know what it meant because im not all that much into labels [as i sit here and talk shit about emos, jugglos, and scene kids] but if you were to call me anything, this is the reply you would get [and this is to anyone, including my friend when she tried to call me a 'metal head'] nope im rachelle. labels kind of distance each other. isnt 'metal' suppose to bring people together who are different? when we label each other and degrade each other by saying, because you like what you you SUCK. doesnt that sound like hypacrital? i personnally never have and never will label myself. though i will call someone out and tell them when i think there just trying to cool to other people is 'posers'. because i think you should listen to YOU like..not what other people like. and thats what i kinda dont care...i LOVE all that remains [who are considered metalcore] and suicide silence [deathcore] and walls of jericho [metalcore]. you can try to call me a core kid all you want...but im not...im rachelle nice to meet you!

Metal is HATE and love. You might get positive comments about a certain style of metal while get chewed the f**k out for liking another.

there are two types of "core kids". One the "Mall-core" kid (or Mall-Goth). These are the kids who think they are metal, but only listen to bands like A7X, Bullet for my Valentine, and Three Days Grace. They dont listen to anything other than mainstream emo metal. The other kind of "core kid" are the scenes. Scenes are (if you dont know) a plague to society. They listen to nothing but hardcore and deathcore, and use terms like br00ta1 and hardxcore and (tm). They think they're metal, but they arent only listen to hardcore, i have a potato jammed in my esofogus screaming, I need a breakdown everywhere kinda garbage "metal"

Exactly, I love Suicide Silence, Walls of Jerico. I just don't like the kids that call themselves Core kids. And also, I absolutly love The Agonist! and they are considered several types of core sub generes. And I also will never lable my self. There are way to many different types of Metal and rock to like one small chunk of it. So I will lable my self as Matt. Nice to meet you Rachelle.
