i know the why part is kinda weird, but i actually have a reason why my favorite song is my favorite song. i actually have two: Blind by korn. i think when you hear a song you make it into whatever its suppose to mean to you. ie somones is singing about not being home {flaws wait for me} that could mean something to a soldier and hes wife but he could actually be singing about leaving hes hooker wife...or relaspe by 40 below summer to me this song is about giving your everything to someone who you thought loved you, and in the ended up being nothing but a fucking joke. but max could actually be singing about drugs. so the reason why blind means so much to me is because of this: i have had some pretty fucked up shit happen. music is my release. when i hear this song it makes me think...everyone who has ever met, ever will meet you, every person who is in your life will be nothing but completely blind to your pain, and the place you will ever have to go is inside yourself.[the first time saw them live, they played it, and it was beautiful] my other favorite: dragged down by taproot: the person you love the most in the entire person is extremely toxic. but you love them to much to walk away..i have felt this many times within my short life span. besides that i owe taproot my life. okay..im done with my tangent.

Master of Puppets by Metallica, great vocals, intense drumming, great bass, and amazing guitar throughout the song!

Death - Crystal Mountain: Insanely good lead riff, great drumming, Chuck's awesome vocals, and the perfect progressive influence thrown in there. Also, a fantastic solo just for good measure. And who can forget about the acoustic outro? Really what is death metal without an acoustic outro? Plus this song can easily be interpreted as an expression of disdain for organized religion, something I am always a fan of. From my perspective really the perfect song.
