Rockstar Mayhem Festival

So when the the festival stops by your town or close to it what do you consider to be your favorite part of it of course other than the music playing? -Variety of different bands-alot of eye candy to check out-new booths of merch and causes that come along-having something to do in your town that's differentor could it be something I did not mention. I wanna know what makes the RMF stop in your area special toyou that makes it that show or just fun.

For me its alwyas the rowdyness that goes down in the Chicago Lawn. The fights, the pits,and the trash and sod fights!! My kind of people getting drunk and ignorant!! Ever since I was 15 @ ozzfest 99' and witnessed chaos such as this during Slayer,Rob Zombie,and System of a Down. Its what I look forward too every summer. Lamb of God is going to have the lawn extra violent this year, I can feel it!!

I always explain to my non-metal head friends that mosh pits are non-violent. They're a bunch of people coming together dancing in an aggressive way (no not hardcore dancefloor, just getting down to the music). Sure, you may sustain injury, but the bottom line is that at the end of the night when the set is over, everyone is friends, hi 5's and agrees that they had an awesome time. But I always throw in, "Of course, there is always going to be that one dickhead who is out there to just hurt people." tbdm?

Hey fuck you guys! First off im 5'7 160lbs. So I cant exactly hurt people. Yea I mosh hard, and love to go crazy. but like dude said above its all about having a good time, and the bonds you share with your brothers in the pit. Ive been going to shows and moshing since I was 15. So Sorry, but im not that body building metal poser that shows up just to knock people down, and then not help them up, because he thinks hes soo tough. If in fact I ever try and hurt someone, its the wanna be hard asses!!

i agree, i love the pits, its a way to let loose and get away from the world and just yell and scream and sing, i tell ppl all the time too its ppl that r getting pumped the music makes ur blood flow and just hits u and in the end everyone does the bro-hug thing and ho 5's, but yes u do get the roid guy that is just a dick standing in the middle thinkin hes the king cuz hes so strong...its an amazing feeling...i love the pits but im not there only for them i love chillen with ppl i came with, drinking in the sun, and just to seee the crazy shit u see from ppl's costumes to the gurls.
