I'm a deathmetal vocalist and i have blown my voice out from time to time, but to never scream again is crap. Cannibal Corpse has been screaming for over 20 years, and they are still screamin. M. Shadows just needs to find the right technique. I found that i cannot do growl based vocals. I use fry based. I dont PURE fry, its fry based. Frying doesnt hurt me like growling does. Also i exhale vs inhale. Inhale hurts more for me. Trivim's Matt Heafy hit a phase when he thought he couldnt scream anymore. The Crusade era...He went and got this thing called VOCAL LESSONS. And learned about his vocal chords. He develeped a technique he likes and now he screams again, better than before. So, if A7X really wanted to incorporate screaming again, they could. They just dont want to cause they get more of the emo/metal worlds money now.

i dunno if this was put up, i didnt see it...so i'll say it again...anyways. If i dont respect someone when they're alive, why respect them when they're dead? Should i respect Hitler cause he's dead? i wasnt comparing his to hitler. i was saying hitler, cause if what you are saying and that i should respect people just because they are dead i should be respecting hitler.I didnt mean that at all. im going to clear something else up. For all you thinking im a heartless shit, your wrong. it sucks when someone dies. i understand that. i never said i was glad he was dead. i said he sucked, and that you should listen to other bands. sorry my opinion doesnt match yours. Suck it up.

Gonna have to agree with the Hitler thing.... it's not about the scale of respect/disrespect. It's the principal of it. Like this whole Michael Jackson thing; a year ago... he was still that crazy pedophile motherfucker who everybody wished he was dead. But now..... everybody thinks he's the best thing to ever happen to music. (Including a lot of people who were part of the former group)

i think your using bad examples than. because it sounds like your comparing a good person to a murderer and child molster. all im saying is this...if you dont have anything nice to say about the DEAD than SHUT UP! no one cares to hear you say something horrible about someone just because you didnt like their drumming style...good lord. its not that hard dude. if you dont have anything nice to say, than dont say anything at all. its just plain RUDE!

gonna have to just Agree to disagree then.... because i dont think it's right for a person to compromise their true feelings because of something as natural as death. (Another bad example: Not being able to talk bad about Dick Cheney's crooked ass because he's about to die)...... Now, i would never be one to wish death unto a person, but I dont think death should be a person's legacy. Its the same thing that happened with Dimebag.... his death is his legacy now, not "Cowboys from Hell" or whatever else more meaningful. And i think thats a shame.

^agree. yea, Dime is my fav guitarist, cause i like his playing style. It's shit he had to go before his time, but his real legacy should be his shredding, not his murder. Same with Chuck Schuldiner, father of death metal, and Cliff Burton, liked his style of bass playing. People's legacy should be about what they do, not because they died.

No one is trying to create a legacy about him. Okay, so you don't like his playing style. No reason to tell other people he was a bad drummer, cause to some people he was a great drummer. I'm just saying, don't try and tell people what to think. Just say you didn't like his playing style and leave it at that.
