"Korn had a pretty big impact on numetal which is thankfully pretty much dead now and i doubt bands like hollywood dead will revive it. Korn is one of the bands like slipknot or lamb of god that has helped metal become more mainstream which could be for better or worse. However, i agree that while korn and slipknot are popular is is a stretch to consider them legendary. If anything bands like megadeath or slayer who have been around much longer should be considered as legendary before korn or slipknot, although i would not consider either as legendary." First, I would like to thank you for responding kindly, I was anticipating a "OMG DOOD YOU SUCK FOR FUCKING NOT FUCKING LIKING FUCKING KORN!!!!!!!one" response. I think the separating factor between Korn and a band like Slipknot, is that Slipknot never left the mainstream. Korn became a nobody band. Bands like Slayer made water into wine, they took the best parts of Judas Priestesque metal and fused it with punk to create a new art form thrash. I don't consider Korn as a miracle band.

I will hope and pray that they play a legendary set like they did for a show that I saw in 2000. They played nearly 3 hours. They played every song off the first two albums. If they play even half of that, I will be ecstatic. I dont care for the last album. Mainly because it sounded tired and repetitive.
After careful deliberation, it has been deemed that most people suck a bowling ball through a straw

As a hater, I'd like to say, fine, go ahead and love Korn, but to say they are a part of bands such as Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Slayer, Iron Maiden, and Death, is an insult.

Anyone who says Korn is good live is a faggot. I saw Korn at the last Family Vaues Tour. It was an epic fail. I thought they would be decent, but I was wrong. Each member of the band had a backup. There was 2 drummers, 2 guitarist, 2 bassist, and 2 vocalist. Thats not metal... thats just gay. It sounded like two bad cover bands playing Korn really loud. They may have broke ground for the metal genre, but they have lost all respect since their early years.

In all actuality, anyone who so states your a faggot for saying korn is good live, is probably, in truth, the real faggot.. I will have to agree that i didn't care for Korn touring wit that backup band, especially the backup singers. I've seen korn 11 times, and besides from the fact they played with Deftones on that tour, wasn't really feeling that show. Anyways, im just sayin, it's usually the kids running around calling everyone else gay that get caught with a cock or two in their mouths.. nah meaaaaaann???
