I like both the bands and I think they belong right where they are.Lamb of God has been around longer if you count the time they were Burn the Priest.They have done there dues and then some.Lamb of God also just rips shit completely apart , they are a much more intense band.

Lamb of God is purefuckinamericanmetal i live and breathe! put them in an abandoned alley and ill fuckin be there- i dont care... but they stomp atreyu for sure...

No if there's one band from the "Metalcore Crop" as you so put it who will be remembered years from now, it's Killswitch Engage.

I think Killswitch Engage will in the future attempt to distance themselves from the metalcore crop, and will attempt to cross over into the mainstream. I think this attempt will fail, and then the band that sticks with their roots and core fanbase (Lamb of God) will earn a place in history. Killswitch Engage lost a lot of their fans (me included) when they released As Daylight Dies. To me it all started with Jesse leaving.
