To me, a big part of the band is their live performance. Back in '08 when i saw them at Mayhem, they probably had the best moshpits there. The crowd did not stop moving, singing along or anything, everyone loved them, and personally so do I.I do agree though with their lyrics, sometimes I think that they have some angry high school mall goth writing their lyrics. But whatever, I really had fun when I saw them.

Dammit Nevermore, that was a funny ass post!! My wife likes 5fdp, I'm not a fan of theirs myself, but I don't care much about them one way or the other.
Nothing like a cold beer, chili cheese fritos and bean dip...

so basically people think their music is too simplistic...I think there are a lot of simplistic bands out there in death metal....all the death metal songs sound the same...same voice throughout...sounds like nothing but vocal vomiting...at least FFDP has some range

Not my fav but i like FFDP but i think it might be becasue they have little expiernce they have only relased 2 albums but they got mainstage i think a band whos been working hard for years should be up their like Shadows Fall, this is how i felt last year 2 with bullet haveing only 2 albums and trivium haveing 4 and trivium having to play 2n stage
