Cause I really have no idea why...I personally think they are a very hard band and the lyrics are the type that wanna make you punch someone in the fucking face....why is this band hated??? valid points please...

I dunno either, I personally love 5FDP. I love a lot of the bands a lot of people are hating here, maybe they just not heavy enough. I haven't a clue.

The problem is probably becasue of last year's line-up. All the little "hardcore" kiddies who think they're so bad ass because they only listen to death & black metal bands want a line-up more like last year's. They don't like how it's all mixed up this year. Whiners.

I dunno I loved last years line up, not gunna lie. I am i would take that tour over almost year we went to man. But this is great too. Bring Behemoth back and I might jizz a bit...XD

I can't speak for everyone else on the board, but the main reason's I hate 5fdp is I think they're highly overrated, everyone thinks they're the next Pantera. Dimebag would play one of their songs with his dick. On WOTF each song was the same downtuned recycled chug-chug riffs with Ivan's whiney pseudo-hardass Jamey Jasta wannabe vocals. One of the stupidest things that ever came out of one of my friends mouths was how "They're the only metal band with melody" and when I asked him how they had melody and if he knew what melody was all I got in return was a blank stare lol. But the thing that I hate the most is the lyrics. "Days like this I really wish, I really wish I wasn't me. It's times like this that make it hard, makes it hard to fuckin' see" "You monkey see, you monkey do. You're always doing what they tell you to. You're such a puppet on string. You don't get it!" I cant say it any better than Nevermore just did! basic, simple song structures, and childish wanna be tough guy lyrics for 8th graders. i dont knw what all you guys are talkin about. ivan is sayin what everyone else wants to. they are one of the best live shows ive seen. and ivan cares about his fans. iva shook that mans hand plenty of times. ima true hardcore KUCKLEHEAD 4 life. so all you haters can suck it.

Meshuggah isn't my favorite band, but every once in a while I listen to them. But I do listen to a lighter style of music, i.e. Slipknot and 5FDP, just to get a feel. I think they are a really good hard rock band. Simple as that.

Five Finger Death Punch is an inferior band because of their lazy songwriting, their bad lyrics, and their lack of originality.

i like 5FDP. sure, their stuff guitaring isnt Dime(R.I.P Long Live the Legend) standard. Sure their lyrics are a bit "corny" at times. They're still good though. Whatever.
