Rockstar Mayhem Festival

ive never been to mayhem EVER ! and i was wondering if its a little like warped tour.. for instance, are there signing tents and do you have to be in the crowd or can you just stand around. idk somebody should give me the scoop on how it is.......... thx !!!!

I've never been to warped tour, but for the most part it's like Ozzfest where as if you buy a bands cd, you can meet them. FYI, last year there were a few instances where you didn't have to buy a cd....Mayhem is a damn good time and well worth the cash...Hope this helps...

Yes, depending on the popularity of the band....Seldom does the cost run more than 15 or 20 bucks. I met Zakk Wylde, Cannibal, Hatebreed and many more bands for $15 bucks apiece...

As a matter of fact I had the opportunity to meet Ozzy and the original members of Sabbath for a measly 15 bucks for a CD here in Dallas back during their Reunion Tour in 99...Especially during times like these when economics are so out of whack, most bands are overly friendly if you buy their CD for a meet and greet...Good luck!

Yea. There are tents and food, and signing like every music fest. BUT, its better. not as many scenes and emos hardcore dancing. also music is METAL, not alternative or w/e waroped plays

Mayhem is just like Warped. But the one problem is at Mayhem if a band you don't like is playing, you have to sit there and wait for the set to be over. Unlike Warped Tour where if you don't like a band there's six other stages you can go to. And they give out free Rockstar instead of Monster.
