God, as much as I don't like FFDP, who would have thought they would get an even crappier band to replace them.

For a second I actually hoped this was true :-/

What's sad is that 5FDP is so bad this would actually be an upgrade.

This isn't the first time I have heard this rumor. I heard Zoltan may have a bit of a drug problem and has been hitting it pretty hard again. Hopefully he doesn't end up missing in the desert like last time.

Shit. I am going for a few bands this year. KoRn, Zombie, 5FDP and Winds of Plague for the first time. LoG, Hatebreed and 3 Inches of Blood secoond time. Others I have seen or not really interested in.

If this ends up being true, I just want to know something...what the fuck is it with the Mayhem organizers replacing amazing bands with these bullshit Christian bands? The first year, Sevendust was replaced by Underoath. And I'm telling you that pissed many people off. When the show came to Phoenix, the second Underoath began talking about "God" I saw thousands of middle fingers go up to them. And we are so close to finally having a full main stage line-up of great bands. The first year Dragonforce sucked, but Mastodon, Disturbed & Slipknot made up for it. Last year Bullet For My Valentine didn't belong on the same stage as Killswitch Engage, Slayer & Marilyn Manson. This year it's all 4 damn good bands. This best not be true.

At first I wasn't too sure about this but I emailed the mayhem site to ask about this. I didn't get a response from Lyman or anyone else, it was some maintenance guy but he did say the lineup is correct with the devil wears prada as the opening band on the main stage. They don't have it up on the site yet because they're getting all the updates put together and I should be updated within the week.
