I don't see how this is such a bad thing to say, as long as you acknowledge that Slipknot is metal which the OP has. Nsync was immensely popular and they were a boy band. Slipknot is immensely popular and they are a metal band. If you're comparing SUCCESS, than yes, Slipknot might just be the Nsync of metal.
Is that hereditary or can one take classes?
