really....wow.....slipknot has stayed a band for 10 straight years. all the same members. in the beginning they were intense. they still are. yeah they've gone a bit mainstream but sooner or later most bands do. slipknot changed the way of music in the beginning and now. their one of the few bands who actually make promises to their fan base and keep it. i live in the city of fresno one ranked the most drunk in america and pretty much no good metal bands come to give us a show. when they do they rarely come back. mayhem fest '08 disturbed said they would come back. did they? no. slipknot said they would come back. did they? yeah. one hell of a show. slipknot makes great music. are you baggin on em just because goth kids in the mall listen to them? im sure there are some goth kids who listen to the stuff YOU call "metal" fact is slipknot makes music not for just one type of crowd. its for everyone. everyone has shit thats on their minds that they need to get out of their system. for those goth kids slipknot is the way for them to do that. SO SHUT THE FUCK UP!

Oh shut the fuck up.Everyone always rags on SlipKnoT just because they're popular. There are WAY worse bands than them. Making fun of them is old news. Get some new bands to make fun of. Don't be jealous of their acomplishments.

there is no nysync of metal because nsync has nothing to do with metal slipknot is a good band so is a7x they both have talent and this is a stupid comparison, atreyu is ok they dont nearly have as much talent as other metal bands today but their not bad...
