lol, i dont think you realize how big Korn is dude, they are a extremly well respected band and have made a huge contribution to the genre, end of thread

I totally agree. When KoRn first started playin music, they were heavier than anyone had ever heard before. They really contributed to the way music is today.

korn is a big influence on most metal today. just as metallica was. with all the down tuned riffs you should know this! even sepultura cited korn as influence for "roots" it doesnt make you badass for saying korn is soft lol. you probably werent even born when korn was killing every band around back in 93 - 96

I like the LAPD reference! LOL! Korn is headlining Mayhem because they're a major band with a shit ton of fans. Just because they aren't as heavy as other bands doesn't make them NOT metal. They had a totally new sound when they first came out, and they did influence a lot of musicians. I really do hope you and all your buddies leave before Korn goes on. That's just less assholes for me to deal with and I can enjoy the show. But it'll be your loss because Korn puts on a kick-ass live show!

seen Korn twice and they are killer live. Not in my top 10 as I prefer LOG Machine Head etc. Mayhem has to sell seats and Korn will do that. This year has a weaker lineup than last imo. Lamb of God is worth every penny. They will headline one of these soon!
