Can I think of a more worthy headliner over Disturbed or Godsmack let me think????? yes i can Mastodon, Suffocation, Born of Osiris, Trivium, Opeth, Morbid Angel, Intronaut, I don't get it how are disturbed or godsmack even heavy metal bands there mainstream hard rock at best grow some ears a pair of nuts and spin an AT THE GATES record or SLAYER or THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER i hate people who pigeon hold bands into genre's stating (I'm a true death metal fan i like slipknot) but at least have some common knowledge before making multiple post that only make u look like a ignorant ass! there are tours for people like you and this isn't it. and by the looks of the line up compared to last year this isn't it for me either Korn? Zombie? WTF man if i wanted to go to q101 block party i would of but i wanted mayhem because i love all heavy music. O well there's always next year P.S. My thoughts on this just from reading the very few first posts. Disturbed is horrible. Repetitive and they are only cool if your in Middle School/High school they never deserve to tour with Mayhem Fest AND THEY ARE NOT FUCKING REAL DEATH METAL. Real Death Metal is Cannibal Corpse their performance last year was fucking brutal, just awesome.Korn is 8th grade goth nu metal. Once again just terrible.THE ONLY BANDS WORTH GOING TO SEE ARE:In this moment, Maria is a very talented female vocalist, shes a great role model for inspired females.3 inches of blood, I saw them live at the house of blues with In Flames They are just simply bad ass.Shadows fall, Just an over all talented band.LAST YEARS MAYHEM FEST FUCKING RULED!Behemoth, ATR, KSE, Manson, BFMV,Cannibal Corpse, FUCKING SLAYER! How the fuck can you even top slayer, there is no way, but still they could do wayyy better this year.

Slayereyez- You said "I'm a true death matal fan, I listen to Slipknot." DO YOU KNOW WHAT DEATH METAL IS?! There is no acoustic or stone sour vocals whatsoever in dm! Period! I'm a Slipknot fan myself, but only the least informed would consider them death metal. Look up Cannibal Corpse.
