Listen to cannibal corpse, morbid angel, death, deicide, and tell me how godsmack, sevendust, and disturbed would fit in a category with them? Just wondering. I am not trying to argue but with what I see on this board talking like that is going to cause some heated debates. There are already enough people crying on this site about the bands not being heavy enough we don't need to give them more to bitch about. Everyone has there own opinions and I wouldn't mind at all if Sevendust or Godsmack was playing. Just don't say we need more death metal and use those bands as examples.

Chimaria, Godsmack is a heavy band man. Listen to the song "I stand alone" its heavy as hell broski. Sevendust induces some of the most violent mosh music in the world. I respect your views but i will respectfully agree to disagree with the heaviness of such said bands.

Guess youve never heard of Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth, Anthrax, Machine Head, Killswitch Engage, Atreyu, A7X, Bullet for My Vallentine and loads more that I can't think off the top of my head which are real METAL. All those bands you mentioned are just mainstream rock.

none of the bands listed are deathmetal. Disturbed is Nu Metal. Death metal is like Cannibal Corpse. Gutteral vocals, and heavy ass blasts and what not. LEARN YOUR GENRES!

Those aren't death metal bands, but they do put on remarkable shows. My ideal mainstagers would be in this order: Nonpoint, Otep, Lamb of God, Slipknot, and Mudvayne closing it out. Now that'd be a good time for sure.

I'd recommend Sevendust to anyone who hasn't seen them live.
