Rockstar Mayhem Festival

no I don't miss it because Mayhemfest is basically the same thing.

although its nice not having to get up at the ass crack of dawn I do miss the early start time a bit, however Mayhem has succesfully found a middle ground between Ozzfest and Sounds of the Underground. Really it also makes it interesting because the crowds change each year(although most big name acts attract an asshole crowd) but its not just old drunk shitheads bitching that Ozzy isnt on yet

i miss ozzfest like a motherfucker, i actually wish the one little stage would come back. it used to be cool watching bands as early as 9:00 am. Plus the best part was ending the nigt watching Ozzy, and Ozzfest also brought up alot of littler bands like Slipknot, System of a Down, Devildriver, Otep, Hatebreed, and Killswitch Engaged to name a few. i feel like every year i go to Mayhem fest its a bunch of bands that i have already seen

it is, but this year I like 10 of them and 7 are among my favorites, however I will say Mayhem totally lacks international bands

who knows though, it is still early i wouldn't be suprised to see one or two more bands added like Mudvayne or any type of hardcore band full blown chaos for examples

To be honest, I prefer Ozzfest over Mayhem.

for the final time Mudvayne wont tour this year(Chad and Greg are doing Hellyeah) and yes this tour lacks hardcore(which always makes a fun show)its gonna be hard for Ozzfest to compete because almost the entire Mayhem lineup is bands that would have done Ozzfest(except maybe 4 or 5 would do it instead of 12)

yea i know....my first concert was ozzfest and i was like "FUCK YES!!" but then i went to the first mayhem and nearly shit my pants! mediforicly speaking of course.

i only went to one ozzfest, but i really enjoyed it. i'm hoping it comes around again this summer, and it's not a destination-fest.

I miss Ozzfest a bit simply because they seemed to bring out a lot more second stage bands that I hadn't yet heard so had someone to check out when the lineup was announced. This tour just has a bunch of mediocre bands on the Mayhem Stage that have been struggling to maintain relevancy for years. The Jager Stage, on the other hand, rocks balls but is all bands I've already seen a couple times. Looking forward to all of those though, don't get me wrong.
