Ive never been to mayhem fest, but i was told that there was a hottopic stage last year, and it had lesser known bands.

no, it was replaced by the Mayhem Stage this year.

there was a Hot Topic stage the 1st two years. The bands weren't lesser known. It had bands like Whitechaple, Suicide Silence, Job For a Cowboy, and Behmoth on it. This year, the Hot Topic stage is being replaced by the Mayhem stage.

Hot Topic isn't sponsoring the tour this year. I'm almost certain it's because they're closing down a bunch of stores and so forth because..well..they can't afford to keep them open. But then again, it might be because Ozzfest got them as a sponsor. Who knows and what does it really matter anyway?
