I went there for the 2008 Mayhemfest. I liked the setup there a lot more than at my hometown show. They have a huge paved parking lot with a ton of room. Most of the main stage is covered.

Yo, I went to lakewood in 2008. The second stages are side by side on a giant parking lot that slopes toward the stages. You can also see the metal mulisha jumping to the left of the second stages so you can conceivably position yourself to see both at once. The booths are a little spread out and out in the open under the hot Georgia sun.I can only compare it to Nobelsville last year. They had the second stages on grass with the slope going away from the stages which made it difficult to see without pushing toward the front. But they did have free water and a lot of the vendors were under two large central tent structures.
Yeah, I know my metal is less metal than your metal. - -

I've been to Mayhem in Atlanta for the past two years. Like the others said, the side stages are set up next to each other in the parking lot. Lots of booths and vendors around. And the GA pit area is covered, which was nice since it rained the whole time in 2007.
