Rockstar Mayhem Festival

I don't think the lineup is bad, but it has all the same bands that have been playing all the metal festivals in the last few years. ANybody that's been going to ozzfests, or sounds of the underground, or any festivals like that, has seen these bands over and over again. All these bands on the bill have either done multiple ozzfests or sounds of the underground and on top of that have been touring multiple times a year in every major city. TO me it's basically a generic rehash of ozzfests and SOTU. Same bands we've all seen a zillion times.

Yeah I guess it is pointless for somebody to express their opinion about a band lineup on the official forum for that show. pffft.... Whatever asshat

It is when theres already like 10 threads devoted to this. Also its kind of hard to fit everybody's tastes. The point is to put on a great show and MAKE MONEY, so of course they are going to grab bands from different genres. There are people that despise this lineuppeople that think its coolpeople that love it. theres also thread where people discuss it.

Ok I should've posted in one of the other threads, sue me. I know it's kind of hard to fit everybody's tastes. I was not talking about the quality of the bands or their sub genre, nor was I one of those elitists that said it's not "metal enough" nor did I complain that there's no death metal. My point was that the bands on the lineup have been way overexposed and played on all the other festivals in recent years. I was saying that I'd prefer if they had more bands that hadn't played every festival already recently.
