just for the shear "wow" factor, this show was at a VFW Hall in March of 2003 in a suburb near Philadelphia: Lamb of God, Unearth, Nora, Every Time I Die, A Life Once Lost, All Else Failed, the Minor Times, Twelve Tribes. That show was amazing and I was onstage during the last couple bands(still have pictures I took of LOG while onstage with them playing)

Tool - 2007 Best concert Ive ever been to. Mayhemfest 2009 would be a close second.

well it would be blink 182 but if we are talking about metal it would be ethier hatebreed or GWAR

The very first Mayhem Fest (2008). In Boston and had the best time ever. Beer and energy drinks spilled on you can only make the time better. Seeing Metal Mullisha was awesome with DJ Starscream.

In the 90's to shows come to mind:Ozzy Osbourne with the original Alice in Chains opening on the No More Tours retirement tourPantera with Sepultura and Prong- both shows in NashvilleIn the 00's it was Ozzfest 2004. Black Sabbath, Judas Priest w/ Halford for the first time since 90, Slayer, Dimmu Borgir, Superjoint Ritual, BLS, Slipknot, Hatebreed, Lamb of God, Lacuna Coil, God Forbid, Atreyu, Otep, Devildriver, Unearth- saw that show in Nashville and St. Louis. Killer show both times!!!Also the Unholy Alliance in 06 with Slayer, Lamb of God, Children of Bodom, and Mastodon. It ruled!!!Van Halen reunion with DLR in 07 was great as was AC/DC on the Black Ice tour. Saw Down several times and they always brought it.
