Rockstar Mayhem Festival

Ok lets set this down first. Its a tour. Its not gonna have the same bands as last year. Maybe every few years a band will return and play the same tour, but no the same band should never be in the same lineup two years in a row. Its just a bad business move.Now that we got that covered,Dear god chill out everyone complained for the past two years about Lamb Of God not being there i swear every other "dream lineup" i saw contained Lamb Of God. Well its here. Look you pay anywhere from $25-$100 for a ticket if you dont wanna go see Korn Rob Zombie or whoever it is you dont like then go buy a $25 dollar ticket and go watch whoever the hell you want to and quit complaining about them not having all these other bands.I have been to mayhem both years and honestly i loved the '08 lineup as it was more modern bands that i grew up with. '09 kinda took me back in the past and really i enjoyed listening to the old school stuff they had as well as the new stuff. (BTW when i saw mayhem fest lineup last year i only had heard Trivium. I had listen to Manson some and Some Slayer but not drive down the road listening to it). Now i love the style of Manson, the Drumming of All That Remains, The Vocal scales Of Killswitch Engage. What i am getting at is....Dont knock it before you try it. Im a musician and i love listening to the drums and the guitar. The environment around you at a mayhem fest is let alone with the money to go. Metal Mulisha is there, for the guys all the beautiful girls there, and just listening to some damn good music.So really were all cool here. To the vets.We have been at this for 3 years now lets not ditch mayhem or talk shit about them cause they didn't get everyone's dream lineup the best. If you cant find any band you like in this lineup you need to lower your expectations and have a better way of looking at music.To the newcomers..Welcome and get ready for the most amazing thing you have ever seen. The concerts are great the people are great, and its really just an amazing place to go and listen to some metal.Hope everyone has a good and safe year this year at the concert.
