In addition to my last comment, how did the line up get picked? What a mess!
I would like to see a different headline act rather than Rob Zombie! The headline band needs to be Behemoth!
The Main-stage lineup should have been Amon Amarth, Behemoth, Machine Head, Mastadon, Five Finger Death Punch. Second Stage: Rob Zombie, Children of Bodom..and so on. I wouldn't even attend this show if Amon Amarth and Behemoth weren't going to be there. Rob Zombie is so annoying with his "Yeah! Ah-ring-dang-gah-do. something..something. Yeah!" lyrics. Maybe Rob Zombie should be headlining the Vans Warped Tour, now that i think about it.
man.... every year the lineup is released and every year all these little warped pussy's come to this site to see who is on it and when they don't see any of there awful post hardcore, emo, or whatever core bands aren't on the lineup they bitch and moan... and it makes me sooooooooo happy. the less of you the better! I am stoked to see the reincarnation of THOR july 3rd with people who actually no what talent is... no go back to your warped boards pussy's!

I am ok with the lineup. As others have said I just really enjoy the atmosphere. As to the 20 lawn tickets. I am calling BS. Try adding 16.00 more from ticketmaster for fees.

Its obvious that fucking slipknot and slayer can't be topped as headliners, BUT WHY CAN'T THEY HAVE BANDS WHO HAVEN'T PLAYED MAYHEM BEFORE?? I will let my money do the talking this year. I am very disappointed in the lineup and will spend it elsewhere.
I'm curious to know how the day is going to play out. With the use of four stages this year, will there be bands playing in the same time slots? I love the lineup with the exception of a few bands, but I hope to see the majority of them if possible. If someone could let me know how the times will be laid out, I would be greatly appreciated.
Ok, i woke up and went on the web sight again to see if it was just a bad dream, it wasn't . All those same ol bands that play every year are still there and still can't believe you gave the headliner to Rob Zombie. What a missed opportunity. You guys must of pocketed the money on this one. Guess i'll start praying for an Ozzfest to pick up the slack you slackers.....
Don't hate this is actually a strong line up and what you think they are gonna have like a shit load of awesome bands they have to have lower named bands thanks Mayhem great setlist will be coming dressed like a viking along with the rest of my crew
Well every year i hear people complaining how crappy the lineup is...with festivals you'll never make everyone happy even i haven't liked every band in years past, but i enjoy the atmosphere and if i like at least 1 band i'm going. I can see why bands prefer to play European festivals because the fans over there seem to be more tolerant of all bands and just say f*ck it i'm going to have fun and enjoy myself. Yes it does get ridiculous seeing some of the same bands 5FDP & Machine Head appear now 3 times...and I get i get it they need a popular attraction and you only have so many choices to choose from, but why are bands like Disturbed, Manson, Korn, Slipknot and yes stupid Rob Zombie so popular? It's so annoying. I really really wish that the Lamb of God headliners rumor were true..it probably was going to be them, but with Randy's status not being known when decisions were being made on who to headline; LOG probably had to turn it down. I like Amon Amarth although a little strange having Mastodon play right after them..I LOVE MASTODON! so that made my decision very easy to make..Fu**ing awesome! Battlecross JFAC are pretty cool, 5FDP,Born of Osris are ok (could've tried for Meshuggah instead). I like Machine Head, & Children of Bodom. Never tried to listen to Behemoth and Emmure, Motionless In White, Butcher Babies, City in the Sea (scremo/emo shit)..are just terrible!!!! Huntress as the music goes isn't bad but that female singer...horrible (should have tried for Kylesa), Thrown Into Exile doesn't sound too bad...seems like some potential there. Personally I'd like to have seen Soilwork, Gojira, Warbringer, even High On Fire, Bison B.C. or Sylosis in the lineup. I'm mostly going for Mastodon and enjoy the day!
