I'm hoping to see Slipknot again. They have been my favorite concert I've ever attended to. I remember when they came out on stage and everyones excitement just rose from being dead from the whole day, to just straight craziness! Especially when the crowd saw Sid crawling across the stage. (since that was when he broke some bones prior to the concert). I waited in line that day to get a signature from Sid for about an hour and when it was finally my turn to get a signature I realized I had nothing to sign so I stuck my leg on the table. I felt like a fool! I'm just hoping to see them again just to bring back the great memories from the past!

At the tender age of 11 in 1999, my mother took me along with her to the mall. As she proceeded to shop around various stores, she let me roam around Warehouse (a CD store for those young ones) to look for for some good old CDs. I wasn't looking for anything in particular, but just browsing the "rock" section. It was then that I came across this CD with an overwhelming amount of band members in masks, it definitely had caught my attention. I never really heard of the band, but I started looking at the songs and whatnot. Long story short, I waited for my mother because I needed an adult to purchase the CD due to its "Parental Advisory" label. Because of our Mexicanism and my mother's not-so-perfect English (haha...sorry mom), i easily duped her by telling her that all the CDs with that label meant that it was a top seller. I bought the CD and never looked back. Slipknot has since then been my favorite band of all time. I slept with that album for the next months, my first concert was the Pledge of Allegiance Tour (which they headlined) and have gone to more than a handful of their shows anywhere near the Southern California area, have purchased all their music (not downloaded), and bought myself a B.C. Rich N.J Series Warlock (I wanted the one that had the word HATE on the frets, but it was one of the few words my momma did understand in English). When Paul passed away (R.I.P.), I was afraid that they will never tour together again. I was ecstatic to hear that they would tour again, but they went to Brazil, Australia, and Europe...but no U.S or at least Mexico or Canada dates. Then the glorious announcement surfaced that Slipknot not only would attend Mayhem fest , but HEADLINE it. I did not care how far from San Diego they played, I would go to wherever the closest stop would be. San Bernardino is just a couple hours away...and that is absolutely NOTHING, it was my calling. I am now 24, a little busier with school and work to go to as many shows as I'd like, but THIS...this is a show I will not miss. I will always regard them as my favorite band because listening to them somehow takes me away from all worries at the moment and reminds me of the good old days of my pre-teens and teenage years when we all felt invincible. \m/ SLIPKNOT \m/

Been wanting to see Slipknot since hearing them blow my pop-knowing ears away with the scream 3 soundtrack. Have since transformed my two bros into metalheads and away from pop too. Have bought the Scream 3 CD twice and Slipknot debut cD three times. Just happy no one is gonna steal my VHS, the only survivor in my collection. And I love the goat, that sucker makes me instantly happy to see every time.

Slipknot because if those guys can get up there and sing, jump, mosh, puke, eat dead birds, cut up pig heads, stage dive, DJ, beat beer kegs like an O.D.ing-hooker and still put on a kick ass show, then I don't want to be the guy that missed the dead-pig-beer-keg-hooker-stage-dive-beating of the year.. Thank you. Also, those guys are the reason I sleep during the day and play guitar at night, I would give anything to see them, even my dead hooker pig.
