On May 15th, Asking Alexandria will release the new, shocking short film, Through Sin and Self-Destruction, exclusively on iTunes. This is a controversial, uncensored look into the real lives of a new era of rockstars for today's generation as they take over the Sunset Strip. This is the first, but not last collaboration between writer Ash Avildsen and director Frankie Nasso, who together take you on an ambitious visual endeavor that hasn't been strived for in rock since the legendary Guns N' Roses trilogy. The film is comprised of three music videos for the songs “Reckless & Relentless,” “To The Stage” and “Dear Insanity.” Guest appearances are made by Belladonna, Andy San Dimas, Sebastian Bach and more. This is truly the essence of sex, drugs and heavy metal.

I will absolutely be skipping their set at Mayhem. Absolute disgrace that they are on the main stage just before Motorhead, they don't deserve it. I might buy a shirt though. Just to light it on fire, piss on it, and throw it at their jack ass singer's face.

This is one of the most fake and contrived things I have ever seen. It's lame attempt to draw a parallel between themselves and bands of a previous movement that we have since moved on from, and with good reason. Glad I already dismissed this band months ago. It's just a bummer that there are bands that still think this kind of shit is cool and even worse, that it's ok to market to kids who don't know any better.
