Day 13 - Mansfield, Massachusetts
This show was different from our previous US shows because Avenged Sevenfold joined us. It was even more awesome because their new album came out that day, and it was their first US show with drummer Mike Portnoy. The fans also came out for hometown bands, Shadows Fall and Rob Zombie who's home is not far from here.
With the un-proportionatly high amount of people wearing, "Fuck You We're From Boston" shirts, we could tell the fans were serious about their city and their metal, and they showed it when Rob Zombie and Korn came on. The fans on the second stage fans were crazy as well and we met up with one of the local opening bands, Stemm. Each date has a local band that opens on the Jagermeister stage. We interviewed Rob Zombie on the special edition of Hellbilly Deluxe coming out later this fall and Zacky from Avenged Sevenfold. They're new album was released that day in Boston so what perfect place to support it than on Mayhem.
