Cincinnati turned out to be a killer show. First off, it was both Robb Flynn from Machine Head and our producer of the tour John Reese's birthdays. It rained really hard but not as much as it did last year when we came around. Riverbend Music Center is always a fun place to play, and just hang out. The side stage bands get to play in their own separate amphitheater, the river sits right next to the venue, and there's a ton of cool stuff around.

We had a good time in St. Louis. It was by far the most sticky and sweaty we've been all summer but that's part of the fun of playing in St. Louis. Aside from the heat, all the bands rocked and the fans rocked just as hard. We were happy it didn't thunderstorm like it did last year as well!
Phoenix, as usual, was hot as hell but that didn't stop us or any of the fans from coming out and kicking ass in the 100+ heat. We stopped by to say hi to the Jagermeister Team, Chris Broderick from Megadeth, and more. Full Metal Jackie has the low down!
Boise is one of the more interesting venues we play at on this tour. First off, there are no reserved seats so everyone for the most part is down on the ground level. This makes the mosh pits in Boise super crazy when the headlining bands come on. The people that came to the show were all insane. Everyone was rocking out and the energy was nothing less than fucking awesome. Boise showed us that they are always willing to throw down in the pit and kick some ass no matter which day of the week it is.
The UFC Octagon Nation team stopped by our show in Mountain View, CA on Sunday to hang out with the fans and host a signing with Kingdom of Sorrow.
The Ultimate Fighting Championship® brought the UFC experience to fans with the Octagon Nation Tour, an interactive tour stopping in cities around the country. Consumers could test their skills, check out the UFC gaming station featuring an exclusive preview of the Xbox Kinect UFC Trainer Experience, meet UFC fighters and visit the memorabilia exhibition featuring 18 years of UFC history.

At each show Dave Mustaine will be giving away a guitar on stage. The contest winner gets to go up on stage and Dave hands them his guitar right after he has played a song with it. Look for the contest on your local hard rock radio station's website to see if it's still going.

It was a little wet and rainy in Auburn throughout the day but some of us welcomed the cooler weather in anticipation of the shows we will be playing in the hot and humid southern part of the US. The fans didn't seem to mind the overcast and wet day either. Joining us for the first time today was In Flames who we were very excited to see. They will be with us on the rest of the tour.
