Mayhem rolls into Phoenix for the hottest day of the tour thus far. We know as Phoenix does that 100ºF plus weather won't stop anyone from coming out and raging with us for a full day of metal. The pits were going by the time The Devil Wears Prada went on and didn't let up until after the fireworks and Slipknot's last song. Shoreline Amphitheater in Mountain View, California is one of our favorite venues. The amphitheater is awesome, the people are insane and this year was no exception. Bay Area metallers packed the house to watch The Devil Wears Prada, Motorhead, Slayer, and Slipknot on the main stage and that was only part of the day's insanity.
Anthrax rocked the Jagermeister stage and there were people out in force from the first opening bands all the way to the end of the show. Mistress Juliya met up with our friends at Zippo and the guys from Zippo check in. We also sat down for a very intimate interview with Corey and Clown from Slipknot, look for clips from those in the coming weeks.
