Also I absolutely do consider Motorhead Metal, dirty rock n roll Metal like most of the NWOBHM bands that later followed. Certainly more Metal than the majority of the bands playing. It makes sense to mix Punk or Hardcore Punk with Metal, they have identical ideals and it's pretty much mixing anger with anger resulting in a behemoth of rage. Mixing Metal with post-hardcore emo is like mixing anger with whining....resulting in a hysterical crying faggot.
For some reason I always expect shows to be louder than they actually end up being. I'm sure Motorhead will deliver.(or Manowar heh) Though I don't want to have to wear earplugs, never have.
Saw them in Cleveland still loud as hell even outdoors. They put on one hell of a show as usual .Motorhead is a true class good old rock n roll band from England.
Very poor VIP package. You are paying for meet the band, your own pictures, that you need to ask someone else to take, and for the autograph. That is it!
Zero planing, zero organization. All the rest of the package very bad quality. VIP tent? just a camping tent, with camping chair , doritos and chips...

Motorhead are a rock and roll band from London and Lemmy is so badass he has more kids than he'd care to say and has pounded more poon than the skin cells on your face!
@hardyhar7 Lemmy is your dad. He knew you were gonna be a faggot so that's why he never called your mom again....
Motorhead has been around for 37 years and still hasn't changed their sound. Even if you don't like them you have to respect that!
@Duncan....Lemmy will be too "busy" on the bus to worry about the scene kids.....he'll probably be boinking a Jailbait scene girl. At AAS666.....Motorhead doesn't play metal, they play Rock and Roll!!! :)
@nastyj: Motorhead will be one of the opener for Main Stage Here the order of main stage: 1 Rotation with one of the bands from the side stages,2 Motorhead, 3 Slayer, 4 Slipknot. Order of the Jager stage:1 The Replacement for High on Fire,2 Whitechabel,3 Asking Alexandria,4 The Devil Wears Prada, 5 As I Lay Dying, 6 Anthrax. dont know the order of the other side stage.

Motorhead - the name alone stands on it's own, a band that lives according to their own rules. A band that has never sacrificed anything and has always remained true to what they are. Lemmy Kilmister, Phil Campbell and Mikkey Dee - what you see is what you get! Lemmy's enthronement as an Icon of Rock happened a while ago and proves that Rock and Roll is alive and exhilarating. (On June 16th Lemmy received the Mojo Icon Award).Fans, new and old, have been bowing to and worshipping Motorhead for over 30 years. Fellow musicians - like Dave Grohl, Ozzy Osbourne ,The Ramones, Guns N' Roses & Metallica have all paid tribute to the Motorhead legend - in one way or another. Lemmy is the undisputed head, gruff and with the typical British humour (despite calling L.A. his home for more than 18 years). Phil Campbell, who has been with the band since 1984, is like a fine red wine - getting better each year, while Mikkey Dee (with the band since 1992) is described by Lemmy as follows: 'Mikkey is fantastic, he's 100% sure of himself, and knows he's the best drummer in the world. The infamous 'We Are Motorhead And Play Rock'n Roll' trio is still a power-horse that won't slow down. More and more people are enthralled by their music and personalities.Motorhead is without a doubt one of the most respected rock bands in the world and made it clear to everyone when they finally received a well deserved Grammy in 2005 for Best Metal Performance. 'Motorizer', a meaty, dangerous rock record, is Motorhead's 24th album and as you can hear - the band is always good for surprises! One gets the feeling that they have not yet reached the peak of their musical output. Like Mikkey Dee says: 'A kick ass motherf***ing record - definitely one of the wider ranged Motorhead records ever released'.'Motorizer' delivers 11 brilliant brand new songs in a never before Motorhead variety, ready to rock the house. The album was again produced by Cameron Webb (Social Distortion, Zebrahead, Papa Roach & Pennywise), who produced the last two Motorhead releases, and much of the recording took place at FooFighter Dave Grohl's 606 studios in Los Angeles. Listen to the record, this band is more than alive and kickin'. Here's the track listing: (Teach You How To) Sing The Blues / Time Is Right / Heroes / Runaround Man / English Rose / Rock Out / 1000 Names / When The Eagle Screams / Don't Die Ashamed / Back On The Chain / Buried AliveHaving completed a highly successful tour of the US last year with Judas Priest and Heaven & Hell, Motorhead continue to answer the global demand for their live assault in 2009. A sold-out tour of South America took place in April, the band is currently in Europe playing some of the summer's biggest festivals, and they will return to the US in September for a real rock'n'roll bill with The Reverend Horton Heat and Nashville Pussy. Without taking a breath, they will then return to Europe for indoor dates throughout the continent, with support from eternally cool cohorts The Damned and Girlschool. In the spring of 2010, the band will commence work on their as-yet untitled new album.
