First off, if someone doesn't like this band, well that's their opinion. You (and this applies to everyone) don't need to attack them for it. They have the right to their opinion. Yes, it's true that if they don't like Asking Alexandria they don't have to comment, but does it really matter? I mean, come on. Be mature. If you like them, awesome. If you don't, awesome. Your opinion.

Anyways, I'm definintly excited to see them again :)

Why, in the actual fuck is everyone bitching? A lot of people make a lot of good points, and love em or hate em, they are on the bill. I am a devout metalhead, and I listened to AA after I found out they were on. And to be honest, I did like most of what I heard. Like someone said below me, they should, and I am sure do, feel honored to open for bands like Antrax, Slayer, and Slipknot. Opening for them and touring with them would be a dream come true for many bands. This show does not only appeal to one audience, it is a marketing demographic people. Bring it multiple genres so a wider range of people will come.

Now, AA and TDWP I was not to excited for, at first...to be honest I am still not that excited for TDWP but instead of bitching about that particular band use their stage time to grab a beer, or get some fuckin merch!

And for the little feud going on between bana nana boo boo, and photogenic....You can be excited for a band, that is what devout fans do, but when you are arguing they are the best band their because of looks, as well as music, your argument is flawed. I dont give a shit if they are all ugly, if they can tear up the fuckin stage, dudettes, I am all for it. But bashing your fellow brethren, people who are going to the same god damn show as you, will get you nowhere. And just cause your sixteen does not make you hardcore....for the record. Most of the bands touring this year paved the way for bands like AA to follow, get your damn facts straight, kiddies :)

(And for the sake of argument I am a 20 year old college student majoring in child and family studies.....another flaw in your statement!)

Like I said,

PhotogenicXPhuckup im glad you see my side. they all deserve to be here, and i cant wait to see them. but all this bashing and major support for only certain bands is stupid. PhotogenicXPhuckup i thank you. you sound like a smart person when i comes to music. and i respect that.

WHY!!!?!?!?! WHY!??!?! WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY!?!?!?! I'm not bashing AA, even though I truly do hate them. I just don't get WHY THE FUCK they are on Mayhem Fest. Same for TDWP. Mayhem is a festival for HEAVY METAL. Asking Alexandria and TDWP are scene bands, Therefore, they belong on Warped. Thats just my opinion though.

We all have our opinions ....... dont bitch just go and have a good time.......

To say that 2011 was a breakout year for the UK's ASKING ALEXANDRIA would be a massive understatement as the group opened for the legendary Guns N' Roses, performed in numerous arenas with Avenged Sevenfold and had a slew of sold-out headlining shows. In 2012, the band are poised for world domination with a massive, six-week long sold-out European headlining tour and a North American headlining spring tour with Trivium as direct support, which will be capped off with a slot on the Rockstar Mayhem Festival. In April of 2012 they will head back into the studio once again with acclaimed producer Joey Sturgis (Emmure) to record their much anticipated third full-length effort. The disc is set for a late summer release. This past year, amidst a slew of recent speculation regarding their stability, ASKING ALEXANDRIA, undoubtedly proved to all naysayers that they are one of the genre's most exciting, ground-breaking and heralded artists as their critically acclaimed new album, Reckless and Relentless, debuted at #9 on the Billboard Top 200 charts scanning an impressive 31,449 units. This monumental accomplishment also simultaneously marked the biggest first week sales for any artist in the history of Sumerian Records. The album's stunning debut quickly caught the attention of mainstream media across the globe resulting in their national television debut on the ABC late-night talk show "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" They spent the summer of 2011 on the Warped Tour mainstage and emerged as one of the festival's most talk about performers. Throughout this timeframe they also graced the covers of such major publications as Alternative Press, Guitar World and Kerrang! This is controversial, unapologetic hard rock at its very finest and you ain't seen nothing yet.
